Jessica Moore

Physical Therapist Assistant Jessica Moore

Physical Therapist Aide

Yoga Alliance 200 RYT Certified October 2013
YogaFit Level 1 Certified May 2010
Body Training Systems-Centergy Certified October 2008
SilverSneakers MSROM Certified March 2008
Resist-A- Ball Certified July 2002
American Council On Exercise Certified May 2002
Powerflex Certified January 2001
Pilates Evolved Core Training (Mat) Certified October 2000

From a young age Jessica was encouraged to participate in sports and fitness activities. This led her into the fitness industry, where she has been teaching Group Fitness classes for over 15 years. She spent the beginning years teaching medium to high impact cardio based classes. She also became certified to teach strengthening formats, and Pilates.

With an integrative approach, the slow blend of movement, breath and focus truly awakened her sense of inner guidance. Her first yoga training was through Body Training Systems Centergy program, which means simply to Center your Energy. This intensive program consisted in depth focus covering an immersion of Pilates and Yoga, alignment, execution, connecting, and coaching. In 2009 she was trained through Yoga Fit Teacher Training. In 2013, she earned her 200 Hour Training with Joanna Cashman, studying Hatha with an emphasis in Restorative and Therapeutic approach. When working with Jessica, you will notice the emphasis in truly breathing, which incorporates connection of the breath with sensation, moment to moment, so that the poses arise from an inner wisdom rather than an outer form imposed upon the body. She will encourage you to investigate during your practice to perceived limitations with an open heart and mind.
